First Lady - Sister Sheila H. Livingston

Sheila H. Livingston is the daughter of the late  Robert Lee Hill and the late Lizzie Mae Hill of Rocky Mount, NC. She is  the youngest of five siblings and presently resides in Fayetteville,  NC.

She graduated from Northern Nash High  School in Rocky Mount, NC in 1973. In December of 1976, she earned a  Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at  Greensboro in Speech Pathology. She graduated Cum Laude from North  Carolina Central University in Durham, NC in 2001 with a Master of  Education Degree in Communication Disorders. Provided with extremely  rewarding opportunities as a public school Speech Pathologist, she  worked eight years in Clinton City Schools, Clinton, NC and twenty-five  years in the Cumberland County Schools of Fayetteville, NC. After  thirty-three years of an amazing career, working to make a difference in  the quality of life for all of her students with communication  difficulties, she retired. Her conviction was that she was retiring to  go to work! 

The work place that has her  heart is Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 1575 Salem Road,  Bennettsville, SC “Where everybody is somebody and Jesus is Lord!” She  is blessed to enjoy the fellowship of this great ministry, where her  husband is the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Harold Livingston. During her time here,  she is grateful to serve as Director of Christian Education, founder of  the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, New Believer’s Class, Welcome Kits  for Visitors, Birthday Cards to each member and Appointed To Praise Mime  Ministry. She joyfully submits marquee sayings weekly and serves as a  delegate to the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education.  Her desire is to bring glory to God, fulfill His purpose in her life and  encourage others to trust God with their whole heart.

She  and Pastor Livingston are the proud parents of Donovan A. Livingston,  who is married to Lauren Nicole West - Livingston and is  presently is  employed at Wake Forest University in Winston - Salem NC. Her life’s  motto is found in Galatians 2:20: I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life  which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who  loved me and gave himself for me.
